I tackled the latter on this matter and he admitted

same to me. In fact they were sent about their business.

The latter should consider himself very lucky indeed that he

wag ever allowed to return to Hong Kong, for whilst in

Internment Camp his conduct, in common with other Super-

intendents, left much to be desired, and any disgrace added

to the name of the Police Force can safely be attributed

to their conduct.

He and another were taken "up the hill"

to the Japanese Headquarters allegedly for "Black Market"

activities and corporal punishment inflicted in a nature as

one would punish a misbehaved child, i.e., removed their pants.

Hardly the type of people to consider the future life of anyone

under their care.

I submit that the refusal by Colonial Office to

entertain their suggestion has not deterred them, for since

their return it has not taken long for them to wreak their

vengeance.

In the passing I would like to inform you that I

possess an Internment Camp "Black Market" book of another

Police Superintendent who was in the same clique as WILSON.

This book shows his dealings in currency and jewellery.

From the foregoing it will readily be seen that

ever growing resentment is present and discontent prevalent

throughout.

I humbly apologise for trespassing on your most

valuable time, but earnestly request that you will do all

that is in your power on our behalf.

This matter has reached a stage whereby it should

be handled on our behalf by a most trusted public figure,

and I approach you Sir, with such confidence after having

taken the advice of a Very Reverend Gentleman of the Cloth.
