I tackled the latter on this matter and he admitted
same to me. In fact they were sent about their business.
The latter should consider himself very lucky indeed that he
wag ever allowed to return to Hong Kong, for whilst in
Internment Camp his conduct, in common with other Super-
intendents, left much to be desired, and any disgrace added
to the name of the Police Force can safely be attributed
to their conduct.
He and another were taken "up the hill"
to the Japanese Headquarters allegedly for "Black Market"
activities and corporal punishment inflicted in a nature as
one would punish a misbehaved child, i.e., removed their pants.
Hardly the type of people to consider the future life of anyone
under their care.

entertain their suggestion has not deterred them, for since
their return it has not taken long for them to wreak their
vengeance.

possess an Internment Camp "Black Market" book of another
Police Superintendent who was in the same clique as WILSON.
This book shows his dealings in currency and jewellery.

ever growing resentment is present and discontent prevalent
throughout.
I humbly apologise for trespassing on your most
valuable time, but earnestly request that you will do all
that is in your power on our behalf.
This matter has reached a stage whereby it should
be handled on our behalf by a most trusted public figure,
and I approach you Sir, with such confidence after having
taken the advice of a Very Reverend Gentleman of the Cloth.
